Shoulderpads available with fantasy and sci-fi outfits here at Planetvixens have been designed with a more 'rigid' look as opposed to a fully conforming rubber-like behavior. They work well with most poses, however, sometimes there may be poses you'd like to use that would result in visible poke-thrus.
In this tutorial, I will show you how to tackle these poses with the shoulderpads. The outfit I'll be using in this tutorial is Princess of The Elves II - now available at the Fantasywear section of Planetvixens. The pose I'm using is one of the standard Victoria 3 poses from DAZ (V3 Fashion 01)
After setting up the scene and posing Victoria, you'll notice an area of poke-thru on the left shoulder pad of the outfit (picture below)
To solve this, simply select the left shoulder pad and using the Parameter Dials, change the Front-Back setting to -6 and the Up-Down setting to 6
Now, render your scene again (picture below) and you'll notice that the poke thru is no longer there :)
Remember, almost every outfit item comes with their own movement dials (ie: Bend, Side-Side, Twist) in addition to the xScale, yScale and zScale dials - remember to use them where necessary to solve any pokethru problems that occurs while posing.
